And here, we'll list the characters we'd most like to choke.

    The Ring of Dishonor:

    #5) TNG LT Natasha Yar
    #4) TNG CDR Kate Pulaski
    #3) TNG CDR Deanna Troi
    #2) VGR Kes

    and my all-time most irritating:

    #1) TNG ENS Wesley Crusher

    5) Hoshi Sato (ENT) - The Wesley of that series
    4) The Doctor (VOY) - Robert Picardo is a good actor, but I really got tired of watching him NAG.
    3) Dr. Kate Pulaski (TNG) - McCoy rip-off
    2) Wesley (TNG) - Boy Blunder
    1) B'Elanna Torres (VOY) - could anyone be any whinier?

I didn't include Deanna Troi because I really don't fault her character, just hate what the writers/Vermin did with her. T'Pol and Seven also really irked me at times, with the ship's sex object status of their characters ala Deanna.

    5. Tasha Yar (ever wonder what would happen if she had survived? Instant cancellation!)
    4. Chakotay (he's boring, and those Native American mysticism episodes never worked)
    3. Naomi Wildman (no kids! Ever! Nog and Jake are exceptions because they at least grew up! Which brings me to...)
    2. Wesley Crusher, who shares a spot with his old pal The Traveler.
    1. Kathryn Janeway (a Katherine Hepburn wannabe who sounds like she's been a heavy chain smoker since age 3 and kept her ship stranded in the Delta Quadrant for 7 years due to her poor leadership)
