I've noticed that the "Character Elimination" threads on ALL Trek forums are hugely popular, so I came up with this little doodad that I hope you'll enjoy. Since we elected this forum to be "all-inclusive" of the Trek series, I decided to put out new "ultimate elimination"-type thing.
Here goes with the rules:
I've selected a large array of characters, and divided them into "stations", or their jobs on the shows. Only Starfleet members can hold these positions, so I've created a separate category for several others.
To play, you simply delete ONE character from ONE category (as opposed to taking out a character in EACH category with each post). Your turn is then over. I'll impose no limit on how often you can play, just allow at least one other person to post in between (no double-posting allowed). That should be obvious, but I'm just trying to be as clear as possible.
When only ONE character remains under a certain category, that character is "elected" to our crew, and that category can no longer be used (if we deleted the last one, we'd have a vacant position).*
*The ONE exception to this rule is the "Command" category. Here, we will leave TWO characters standing, to represent a CO and an XO. Once all other categories are settled, we'll hash out which one is Captain, and which is First Officer.
In case you don't know this, you can simply "copy, then paste" the previous post to avoid re-typing the whole roster each time.
