What do you think, or what do you believe others think is nerdier between Star Trek and Star Wars.

I personally believe to non-fans of either that it's neck-and-neck with Star Wars slightly edging out Star Trek in nerdiness.

I think there are many, many more "non nerdy" Star Wars fans then there are non nerdy Star Trek fans.

i hate these kinds of polls. the two are two far different from each other to even be considered rivals.

I like Star Wars but I LOVE Star Trek and I personally feel the weight of my own nerdiness for being a Star Trek groupie (even mentioned it outright on my profile when I came on board) but I assure you I am unashamed and unabashed to be labelled a nerd!

Star Wars is a little bit more "mainstream" which is why it is not associated with Nerd-dom so much.

HOWEVER, Star Trek dealt much more with social and humanity issues and delved into characterization and personal conflict/development. Star Wars was more about action/adventure and special effects. It takes some brains to love Star Trek, hence the "Nerd" nomenclature.
