I like it - it's a fun episode. It's a bit overrated, I think. Not an episode I could watch more than every now and again.

My favorite part is always when Scott starts the fight, and then later gets in trouble.

I actually saw the episode of Deep Space 9, Trials and Tribblations before seeing the original. So when I finally saw it it was very strange, imagining where Sisko and the rest where at that moment,

I love it too!!! Classic comedy, so well written, and I think the only episode that is completely funny and meant to be so. Don't you just love Spock being totally.... unaffected.... by .... the ..... calming ..... effect ...... of .....the ...... tribble ..... purrrrrrrr?

This episode is so funny, I can even forget that some of the characters are OOC in this. Who cares if something is this good otherwise. I don't.

While it's not my favorite episode now, it's the episode that made me start liking the show as a kid!!!! I wanted a tribble so bad!!!

It is a great episode, I even have my own tribble that has such a wonderful purr! If they were to put out a DVD with this episode and DS9's Trial & Tribblations I'd buy it. The DS9 one was so incredibly well-done.

Have you had your tribble for a long time? If not, where did you get it? I'd love to get one for my TV room!!!

They did put out a VHS set with both of those eps that came with a tribble that purrs when you squeeze it. My mom came across it at a swap meet, or something like that, and gave it to me. The tribble is now on my desk and I like to carry it around with me just to see if anyone recognizes it.

Also, someone asked where to get tribbles? http://www.roddenberry.com has some every now and then for about $15US

I love this episode. I have just started revisiting the TOS series and can't believe how attractive Kirk is. As a kid I used dream about him being my dad and travelling with him thru the galaxy. Now I certainly don't see him as a father figure but that's another story. I just love TOS all over again.

So do I. The scene between Kirk and Scotty is funny.
