Now look I kinda like this series, but to me, its just not star wars. 3 words come to mind when i c this series, fun, short, and way overdone. Now the action in this show is absoulutely awesome, and they r all pretty remembable. But the problem is...nothing is really developed here in this series. Most of the characters have almost no development at all and r there just to be there for 2 secs and look cool. The whole series itself is so short it doesn't feel like its a war, and more like star wars the clone fight. 3 years of fighting all developed in about 2 hours, what??? If this series was a 30 min one, then i could c it being developed well but for me its not .That i don't like, and this series is way to overdone. Its like every time a jedi hits something, a million droids die, cool, but come on, that is way overdone for star wars, plus to me it makes the droids even dumber at times then the one's in the new show r supposed to be. Grievous to is way to much too, its like they wanted people to think that he was the strongest villian in all of starwars. I prefer him in the new CW where he's cool, but not way over done like he was here. Still, besides these big issues, I do think this series has good things, The animation looks beautiful, the action scenes again r truly awesome, good acting and i must say dialogue too and the music is most impressive. Plus i must say though i did say there was not much development at all, i must admit the episode with anakin and obiwan on the strange indian alien like planet was handled very well and was somewhat sad. I don't hate this show alright its just its not star wars to me really.moreless
  • Why can't we have more shows like this?

    8.5
The current Star Wars series is nowhere as good as this. Genndy Tartakovsky makes so many great shows, but they are all canceled. Sym-Bionic Titan was canceled and replaced with that Problem Solverz crap. how come everytime he makes a good show, it gets canceled. Dexter's Lab was popular, but then it got canceled, same with Samurai Jack.
  • Now this is the Clone Wars

This is what the CW should be, alongside the novels and comics. Not that juvenile unoriginal 3D crap that is only meant to give Lucas some more $$$$ through merchandising.
  • I'm a huge Star Wars Fan, this is not the way Star Wars should be depicted!

    3.5
After seeing all the Star Wars films that were out at the time lots of times, I heard that there was a short cartoon about the Clone Wars being made. Me being the giant Star Wars fan, was anticipated. After watching it, I was horrified. This is not the genious which is Star Wars!! Jedi jumping up to the tops of mountains, with bad voice acting and horrible drawings... this show disgusted me. I am hoping the CGI version will not be as terrible as this. Keep to the films, or make a filmed series (which I heard they are).moreless
  • OK...........

    1.0
This is a waste of time I didnt like the story or the fighting. It was also, well, childish. This would have been better if it was a movie, not animation. Also why 3 minutes? I mean 30 minutes can be better. But atleast they put it all together. But if you like anything that has the word 'star wars' on it, you might like it.
