A must-see episode!

This episode picks up directly where the last chapter left off. With Anakin and Asajj in a heavy hard-fought battle. The reason I think this is the best of all the Clone Wars chapters is because it shows exactly what was intended for the prequel movies. Anakin's decline to the Dark Side. Here we see him use anger, agression, and hate. This battle could be compared to the one with Count Dooku in Episode III where Anakin does much of the same. Anakin uses all that rage and in the end defeats Asajj Ventrss with her own lightsabre. He lets out a monstorous yell and tosses the sabre into the canyon where Asajj fell. During the climax of the fight, we can see glimpses of Yoda, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Qi-Gon Jinn, perhaps trying to hold Anakin from falling to the dark side.moreless

Possibly the best episode in season 1.

This episode continues from chapter 18. The lightsaber duel between Anakin and Asajj. I found that the beggining of the fight in this episode was slow at first, but it definately picks up and this time Anakin is winning. Anakin really shows that he is going down the dark side. He fights with anger and rage, and wins in the end.

It gets really tense in the last few moments for he strikes Asajj. I also like the part where Anakin shouts after he defeats her. This is a must watch episode if you like the Clone Wars cartoon or even if your just a star wars fan because its one of my favourites.moreless

One of the top 5 chapters!

In my oppinion,this is one of the top 5 chapters of the Clone Wars series.

The episode picks up from chapter 18 with Anakin and Asajj continuing their fight on Yavin 4. There's a couple of minutes of intense fighting on the jungle floor and inside the temple before the duel heads out into the very top of the temple. Asajj manages to disarm Anakin,but as she goes in for the kill,Anakin grabs her arms,and forces her back. He manages to push her down,and she loses control of one of her Lightsabers in the process. We then get to the most intense part of the episode: Anakin force-grabs her Lightsaber,and a goes charging for her in a dark-side fueled rage. In 3 quick flashes,we see images of Qui-Gon,Obi-Wan,and Yoda (it implies that he sees these images because they're trying to warn him not to use the dark side). Anakin then pushes Asajj from the top of the temple,and lets out a violent yell before deactivating the red Lightsaber in his hand.

One of the reasons I really like this episode is because it was a shock to me when it first aired. I had no idea at the time the cartoons would get this intense. Kudos to the writers and animators for pulling off a very exiting fight scene.

  When Anakin defeats Ventress at the end of the episode, it plays out similar to how his son Luke would defeat his Sith alter ego, Darth Vader, at the end of Return of the Jedi. The exception being that Anakin doesn't sever Ventress hand, like Luke did to Vader.
