Savage Opress takes his revived and half cyborg brother, Darth Maul, to hunt down their enemy, Obi-Wan Kenobi. Finally Darth Maul will have his vengeance for his horrible disfiguring. Mother Talzin cures Darth Maul of some of his madness, but he maintains the rage that drives him after the Jedi.
Count Dooku attempts to recruit specialists for his plot to kidnap and hold hostage the Chancellor of the Republic using an obstacle course called "The Box." Obi-wan Kenobi enters the lethal obstacle course while disguised as a bounty hunter.
Supreme Chancellor Palpatine goes to Naboo guarded by Jedi Knights. Meanwhile, Cad Bane, a still-disguised Obi-Wan and a pack of bounty hunters put their plan into action, but fails when Obi-Wan alerts the Jedi. With the Bounty Hunters in Republic Custody Obi-Wan wants to change back to his original self.
Obi-wan Kenobi stages his death in order to go undercover in a prison to search for information about an upcoming plot to kidnap the Chancellor and extort the Republic. Meanwhile, Anakin Skywalker begins hunting the man that he believes to be responsible for Kenobi's death.
Count Dooku and General Grievous descend upon the planet Dathomir to destroy the Nightsisters. Asaji Ventress strives to help repel the invasion and confronts Grievous in single combat but is ultimately unable to do much more about the massacre than to try and survive it.
When General Grievous attacks Hondo's camp, Ahsoka and the younglings help the pirates defend it.
Savage Opress, the brother of Darth Maul, gets word that Maul may possibly still be alive and hiding out on the planet Lotho Minor in the Outer Rim. Casually known as Junk World, the planet is an intergalactic dumping ground. Junkers live in the tunnels beneath the waste and are said to have the ability to create cyborgs out of the injured.

After the Mid Rim planet of Aleen is devastated by catastrophic earthquakes, a Jedi transport containing R2-D2 and C-3PO is sent to the planet to provide desperately needed humanitarian relief.
