Before this airs, I would just like to say: Darth Maul's tattoos will always be Sith tattoos to me. More complaints to come after January 7th.

I am curious to see if indeed the tattoos you speak of are really like Darth Maul's. I would argue that whichever planet he came from, many others like him bear the same art. How come Count Dooku and Darth Vader never sported the tattoos also?

I know what The Clone Wars explanation for Darth Maul's tattoos is already. I do not like it; thus, they will always be Sith tattoos to me.

They're saying that it is his natual skin color, aren't they?

I agree, it's Sith tattoos, not skin color. I can give it to this new Zabrak with it being his skin color, but not Maul. The red may be his skin, but not the black.

I'm surprised they are saying this. Maul was the only on-screen Sith with tattoos, and you see tons of Sith with tattoos in games, books, and comics. So why change it? It isn't hurting anything.

Not exactly. I know what it is, but I don't want to spoil it for anyone who wants to be surprised at the story.

Unfortunate Implications. Full-body tattoos are "evil".

Ah, alright. Well, do they mention Maul at all? Becuase if they do, they still could've kept him as having Sith tattoos just by not mention him. They didn't needto change a thing really.:/

But I'll see what you're saying on Friday.

Vader was baked alive, and Palpatine was in a hurry to have him kill the CIS leaders.

In Dooku's case, there was also the little fact that he didn't want to announce to the galaxy that he was a Sith.

I must say I was very happy with the episode and await the next installment of the three part series with great anticipation. I never would thought that Dathomir was such a dark place. Plus is showed an innocent side of Ventress before she turned evil.

Good episode. SO happy they kept it close to her background I already know. Took my breath away when Ky Narec remained her Master on the series. I never thought they would stick to canon lines with something. Thank you for that, Katie Lucas. You really did your homework.
