Hopefully they'll introduce more stuff from the EU in Season 4. I also think they should adapt some of the Clone Wars era novels as story arcs.

I'll watch it because, well, I love anything that comes out of Star Wars but I don't think I really love this show. It's OK but people say season 3 was the best it's getting better and all that but the previous seasons was far better in my opinion. Especially I really loved one particular episode which Yoda and a couple of clone troopers in battlefield.

Agreed. I think they should move away from the side characters background stories idea. Some Sith point-of-view would be awesome too but I'm not expecting too much from a cartoon. It isn't a bad thing being a cartoon but I used to describe this show as an animation.

BTW I'm open to new ideas about shows and I think the trailer was awesome but the show moved from the never ending war against mighty mysterious enemies (biggest conspiracy in the history being in charge of the two sides of the war -Palpaltine-) to easily escaping fully secured prison at ease while an entire Confederate fleet was guarding it.

I guess it is naive to expect it as a mature dark Star Wars but nobody can argue that the shows target age is decreasing.

...or I'm just being absolutely pessimistic in the fricking 4 in the morning while pretending to study an exam.

In a recent interview with Dave Filoni, he stated in season four they will be focusing on the characters that have been created for The Clone Wars.

Hopefully they stick to that promise.

And Lucasfilm, for the love of God, have another "Lair of Grievous" style episode where an EU/Minor character takes centre stage - whilst nodding to the EU and incorporating the Clone Wars into it. I know that sounds steep but let's admit it- episodes that follow those lines (Rookies, Cloak of Darkness, Lair of Grievous, the Mandalore arc, the Kamino arc, etc.) are miles better than those that don't.

Getting down to business with Season 4 - holy crap! Take a look at the two previews on Star Wars.com!

Let's see what was in that Wondercon one:

    (WARNING - POSSIBLE SPOILERS)

-Anakin faces off against Count Dooku

-The Battle of Mon Calamari! (Including Kit Fisto, Ahsoka, Rex, Aqua droids, Mon Calamarians, etc!)

-General Grievous dueling multiple Gungans (see 0:12 onwards)

    -Epic space battles

-Clones in some kind of canyon or fortress (see past 0:15)

-Plo Koon and either 501st Legion or Wolfpack Troopers on a starship

-Adi Gallia VS General Grievous (perhaps they'll retcon her fate and have her die there - unless that is the battle of Boz Pity?)

-A duel wielding double bladed lightsaber Jedi

    -Yellow Magnaguards?

-Clones in some dark, blood red landscape (see around 0:23)

-The clones are now nearly identical to the clones seen in ROTS.

-Some form of peril for C3PO and R2-D2 - notice they are also in the background of Adi duelling Grievous.

Overall, what looks like a very interesting and potentially brilliant season.

    Dear all,

I's a nooby here at Star Wars: The Clonewars verse, so I won't put in my two bits as of yet. [I normally watch the whole series and the a second time before I start to philosifice -in this an actual real word?- on the continuation of the story.]

I just have a question here. Are you guys sure that season 4 is in the makes?

We have a good idea of at least three story arcs that will occur in Season 4 from what we've seen already, too.

Plus it's being released this Fall, of course.

I think it would be cool if Boba Fett made a return this season, although they would probably need to update his appearance to fit in with the time jump. The suit could also make an apppearance.

Personally, i'm looking to see more action, i've had enough of seeing The Senate gatherings, episode after another. And does anyone know, is Anaking supposed to slowly turn towards the dark side? Or not in this series?

The consensus idea around this forum is that Anakin will start toward the Dark Side, and it will involve Ahsoka Tano. Whether she ends up dying or goes missing and will never be found is up to the writers. In the episodes with the Father of the Force, particularly the 3rd part, showed Anakin what he will do in the future, and does not listen to the Son by saying he won't do those terrible things.

One could argue that his journey toward the dark side started right when he left for the Jedi Temple because he could never let go of his mother. Then when she died, he killed everyone there who he believed to be responsible for his mother's death. And of course we see how his journey is completed in Episode III. I like you look forward to more action in Season 4, and possible completing a lot of loose ends from arcs in the previous two seasons.

Hopefully Anakin's turn to the dark side will take a kind of season/series arc for a while. I would like to see it over Seasons 4 and 5, but if anything it'll be more present towards the end of the series.

My only hope is that they keep everything true to the movies and the EU. Ahsoka wasn't in RotS, so something has to happen to her before the Invasion of Curosaunt.

I've seen worse misspellings, one of which involves a u where the a is.

I know, it just irks me. I mean, I guess I could be a little less stressed about it; not everyone is like me and sees these words 50 times a day.

The subtitle for Season 4 is going to be Battle Lines.

The part of the trailer that shows Adi Gallia fighting General Grievous may be taken from an episode that deals with the Battle of Boz Pity
