    • Aayla Secura made her first appearance in "Star Wars: Clone Wars" Chapter XX. She was also killed by Commander Bly in "Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith".

    • Newsreel:
The Republic fleet is on the defensive and pushed to the brink! As war rages in the much contested Outer Rim Territories, chaos and fear mount as the Separatist army wages an epic battle against heavily outnumbered Republic ships in the far reaches of the Quell system. Anakin Skywalker and his Padawan Ahsoka race across the galaxy to aid Jedi Knight Aayla Secura who is in the midst of a fight for her life as the sinister droid army closes in...

Jedi Fortune Cookie: "Greed and fear of loss are the roots that lead to the tree of evil."

  • Quotes

    • Aayla Secura: I can still sense your concern for Anakin. Your attachment to him.
Ahsoka Tano: It's just, I get so confused sometimes. It's forbidden for Jedi to form attachments, yet we are supposed to be compassionate.
Aayla Secura: It is nothing to be ashamed of, Ahsoka. I went through the exact same process when I was your age, with my own Master.
      Ahsoka Tano: Really? You?
Aayla Secura: He was like a Father to me. I realized that for the greater good, I had to let him go. Don't lose a thousand lives, just to save one.
Ahsoka Tano: Maybe, but that doesn't mean that I can't try to save his life.

    • Aayla Secura: I'm sure you are aware that the Jedi did not initiate the Clone Wars. Our only intention is to end it and restore peace.
Tee Watt Kaa: What difference does it make who started the war and who only wants to end it? Violence breeds violence. It takes two to fight.
Aayla Secura: But isn't liberty worth fighting for?
Tee Watt Kaa: But is it worth killing for? Fighting for something doesn't necessarily mean you have to destroy everything in your path. Only when you lay down your arms and pursue a course of nonviolence can you make this claim to me that the Jedi are peacekeepers.

    • Tactical Droid: This is taking too long. Destroy that cruiser!
Droid Commander: But sir, there are still hundreds of droids on that ship.
      Tactical Droid: I don't care...

    • Ahsoka Tano: (About Anakin Skywalker) I'm just glad he wasn't awake to see that landing!
Aayla Secura: He would've been proud.
Ahsoka Tano: I've certainly perfected the art of demolishing ships and almost getting my master killed.

    • Admiral Yularen: Are all Jedi so reckless?
Aayla Secura: Just the good ones.

  • Notes

  • Allusions

    • Admiral Yularen: Plot every course along their last known trajectory!
This mirrors Darth Vader's quote in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back "Calculate every possible destination along their last known trajectory."

    • Commander Bly: The navicomputer's coordinates were inputted incorrectly and, well, we're headed right for a star.

This was one of the dangers of hyperspace travel that Han Solo mentioned to Luke Skywalker in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.

    • Darth Vader's Breathing:
If you listen carefully to Anakin's ventilator while he's recovering aboard the frigate, it's the same breathing effect as Darth Vader's famous breathmask.
