  • After groundquakes have devestated the planet of Aleen, a republic relief effort arrives, including the droids C-3PO and R2-D2. It becomes the duty of the droids to embark on a surreal journey through the Aleena's subterranean world to save the planet.moreless

The episode was pretty good, but nothing special is how I would put it! C-3PO and R2-D2 were central characters in this episode and I really liked seeing the two of them together and the way that R2 knows what he is doing, when 3PO doesn't have a clue. A small nice touch I felt was when 3PO falls into the crest hole, R2 immediately follows him in with his boosters, which I thought shows how much R2 really does care for 3PO, in ways other people seem not to do.

Next, another part which I enjoyed was the clones. Lately, they havent been seen much in episodes 1-4 of season four, but I really enjoyed seeing them here and I have to say this episode has some of the funniest dialogue than any other episode of the series. The clones showed little care for the droids which I thought was hilarous, some of the best lines included:

'suck it up shiny', 'great, its going to be another one of those planets' and finally my favourite 'take a look at this one' (these quotes are funnier in the episode, but those who have seen the episode will see why these are funny)

I feel that the episode's agenda was successful on all fronts. Its aim (in my opinion) was to be light hearted and funny and take a break from all the action of the big battles. Episodes like this are needed so that the show can keep us fans longing for more Star Wars, again this episode was not bad, not bad at all. I enjoyed it, but it was not one of my favourites of the series.

The creatures in this episode looked fantastic, I was particularly interested in seeing different aliens which had never been seen in the Star Wars movies before. The tree like creatures looked very cool, but they all looked like they were out of Star Wars and thats what made them so intriguing and I would like to see more, the down point was they just stood there (but I suppose thats what trees do)

In the end, the episode was good in my opinion with a 7/10 as my score, it is not bad at all. Not the best of season four so far (which shows how good some of the episodes have been in season four), but bigger and better things are to come, I am sure of that!

This episode was one of a two parter and I am really looking forward to next week's episode where the droids are involved in the war itself, similar to A New Hope, with General Grievous and Adi Gallia and it really looks action packed, I cannot wait! Those who did not like this episode, be patient and look at the episode from the perspective, that it is a breather and light hearted episode, which I think is needed in every series, so you can appreciate the brilliant episodes. Hey its Star Wars, what else do we need to say! :)moreless
