  • A Murder of a Senator leads Padme and Bail Organa to investigating the death of a close friend in the Senate.

Exactly what the doctor didn't order for Star Wars: The Clone Wars. After three straight episodes of the Duchess of Mandalore's quite forgettable introduction into the Star Wars television program, Padme Amidala once again shows us why she and the Galactic Senate are quite possible the two most boring characters and entertainment in the entire Star Wars Universe. 99 percent of Star Wars fans want to see some wicked cool lightsaber fights and Jedi plot twists... Not a political debate and a very dull assassination plot. Stick to the Jedi storyline... PLEASE! Padme has almost a zero fanbase in the Star Wars Universe and when she's teamed up with a couple more dull characters like Bail Organa, the show's rating takes a real hit. Where's Cad Bane, Count Dooku and Ventress when you need them?moreless
  • Wow! Are you kidding me? After a billion light years of no Star Wars Clone Wars this is what they've decided to come up with?!?!

Wow! Are you kidding me? After a billion light years of no Star Wars Clone Wars this is what they've decided to come up with?!?! Not a single Jedi or Sith (besides Palpatin of course, but he don't count), or bounty hunter...

Only one flimsy action seen with a weird chase & a couple of blaster... what's the word... blasts, I guess.

I have a question though: the lieutenant who was investigating the murders... did he remind anyone of Peter Lorre? I've only seen Lorre in Casablanca & Bugs Bunny cartoons.

This was a really boring episode with nothing exciting - not what all of us have expected & longed for!

But!!! There is a new hope! The next episode is the bomb!!! Can't wait when tv.com let's me review it!moreless
  • One of my favorites!

Ater a three or four week hiatus, the Clone Wars returned with an episode focusing on Padme and the murder of TWO senators.

In this episode, Padme and a small group of other senators (including Bail Organa and Mon Mothma), are trying to get a bill passed to stop the creation of clones. But when Onocanda Farr is murdered in what looks to be a sabotage to their effort, Padme investigates.

After the terrible Mandalorian arc, I'm happy to see the show get back on track. This episode was entertaining and was quite intense, tho it was obvious who the murderer was from the beginning. In my honest opinion, while Padme was never a favorite of mine in the movies, the episodes that are about her in the show are usually some of the best.

Good job to the crew and hopefully they keep making episodes as good as this one.moreless
  • A possibly brilliantly written script and storyline that has, once again, been "dumbed" down for its Cartoon Network audience.

A possibly brilliantly written script and storyline that has, once again, been "dumbed" down for its Cartoon Network audience. The addition of character, Lt. Divo, was the only real intrusion into a masterpiece of political drama throughout the saga. His humourless comedy was annoying at best and Senator Amidala's reaction to him was boring. Starting out with the most interesting part of the episode- the Military Expenditure Bill- it then became a little disatisfying afterward. Too much of the focus went to a nowhere investigation led by a pompous and perturbed individual who the writers should have gladly replaced with a more serious fellow, instead of following the congressional debates of a wayward Senate leading to one of the most critical policies of clone creation throughout the Clone Wars. All in all, it was a good episode, and I enjoyed it, but it could have been better.moreless
