Pantora in peril! The newly elected Chairman of Pantora, Baron Papanoida, is caught in a deadly political game. The Trade Federation has blockaded Pantora and suspended all commerce with the system. Isolated from the rest of the Republic, the people of Pantora are beginning to rally against the Senate, who have seemed unsympathetic to their plight. To make matters worse, Count Dooku has come forward offering aid if Pantora joins the Separatist alliance. Chairman Papanoida has dispatched Senator Chuchi to Coruscant with the hope that she can motivate the Senate to act in favor of Pantora before Lott Dod can legitimize the blockade...

Jedi Fortune Cookie: "A child stolen is a lost hope."

    • This episode marks the series debut of Greedo. Greedo first appeared in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. Greedo's appearance in this series has left many fans outraged; as per the Expanded Universe, Greedo would not have been born yet when this series takes place. Greedo the Elder, Greedo's father, appeared in a deleted scene in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. As of this episode, that scene has been retconned, making Greedo in his 20's for this appearance.

    • The cantina featured in this episode, Chalmun's Cantina, is the same cantina featured in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.

    • This is the first time Jabba the Hutt and Rotta the Huttlet have made an appearance on this series. They were, however, featured in The Clone Wars feature film.

    • This is the first time Tatooine has been featured on the series. The planet did make an appearance in The Clone Wars feature film, as well as being mentioned in the season one episodes Shadow of Malevolence and Trespass.

    • Both Sugi and Embo from the season two episode Bounty Hunters make cameos in Jabba's palace.

    • Lott Dod makes reference to the Treaty of 1647. This is a rare instance in which a date is stated in the Star Wars Universe.

United Kingdom - November 6, 2010 on Sky Premiere

    • Riyo Chuchi and Ahsoka Tano both state that they are good friends during this episode, despite the fact that they have not met before in the series. Considering this with Chuchi's drastic redesign, this episode must take place awhile after the season one episode Trespass.

    • Since we see Onaconda Farr in the halls of the Senate, this episode is a prequel to the season two episode Senate Murders.
