  • Wrapping up the storyline from last weeks so-so episode Corruption, The Academy gives Ahsoka her chance to overthrow some government.

Corruption, last weeks episode, wasn't so hot. It had some uneven character personalities, as the Duchess was passive and suddenly wanted to burn down an evidence filled lab. Padme did get he chance to shine, showing how kick-ass with a blaster she could be.

But the Corruption (I won't use the word as much as they have in these two episodes) still lived on and it has been handed down to Ahsoka to figure it out, with the help of Mandolarian cadets.

I love the shots of inside Mandalore, something about the way the city looks is just amazing to me. And these two episodes did a great job with that.

The Cadets get some food urges, which of course launches them on a quest to tour the government docks in search of the scare food. They run into a black market deal and a hooded figure. (It was horribly obvious who the traitor was..) They of course accidentally make it known they are their and have to high tail it out of there.

Corky, one of the Cadets, is the nephew of the Duchess, who they go to worn but only shrugs them off. They go to the Prime Minister who requests to see them in a creepily specific manner that doesn't tip them off. They go to this meeting and find themselves attack. Luckily Ahsoka kicks ass and devises a plan after they find Satine has been arrested.

The scene inside the prison was really neat, with the stun-guns and the Cadets and Ahsoka fighting with handcuffs on. Once they get the upper-hand, the prime minister gives up and the world is happy. I really liked the ending in the prison.

I just wish there was more Satine and Obi-Wan.

Overall fun episode that ends a lackluster beginning.moreless
