If you were a producer for Atlantis, what changes would you make, if any?

I personally would have less replicators and more wraith! I think the wraith are so much more exciting!

No, if i was a producer I'd get a cast and keep it. in 4 seasons they've had... 5 cast changes.

I would have more Wraith, less Replicators, as well. I would keep the main characters, and most of the side characters after a few changes.

Carson would come back as head of medicine, Keller would be in charge when he went off world.

Sam would have to go back to Earth, and Atlantis would need a new leader. I'm not sure who, though. No one from SG-1. Not Sheppard. Probably not Weir. Someone new, who's a civilian. Someone who's a diplomat, and listens to her people before making a choice. Someone who connects to the rest of the cast, has lots of personality, and who can be funny.

There would more episodes with a kid in them. Also there would be an episode or two that's entire purpose would be just to make people laugh.

I would have Weir back, add a new character and have O'Neill added to the show.

I'd bring O'Neill on so we can have a proper Sam/Jack 'relatioship'.

Include Daniel Jackson. Bring back Ford. Remove Teyla and/or Ronon.

Involve earth! Is this Star Trek or what?

Land Atlantis on *main land* instead of water. On the closest habitable planet near earth.

    Involve earth! It feels distached!

Less but more thoughtful and dry humour without making everything turn gloomy.

Involve earth! No politics in space?

More exploration. More intelligent dialouges. More building, less destroying. More stories about politics and allies, less about enemies.

    Involve earth!

Having an actual ongoing plot would be nice, it feels like they have 20 episodes to fill, but only enough story for 7. Great, the Replicators are fighting the Wraith... and we're involved in that how again? If I wanted to watch that, I'd be watching Stargate: Replicators.

This show, more than anything, needs focus. It needs to stop being an episodic mess and get a cohesive vision of where it's going and actually go there.

Introduce the furlings to the show. Have Earth make more warships that have asguard Ancient and human weapons and systems. Keep the character but put more back ground on there live and how they mess their worlds ie Ronon. For an episode put O'neil,Carter,Jackson, Teal'c,Mitchell and Vala and send them to atlantis for a mission about the replicator, wraith or introduce the furlings. Also try to go back to old episode and try to make the those episode relevant to the future.
