I think that this is one of the most brilliant ones. It showed us exactly what Jack and the rest of SG-1 thought about Jonas. It really helped in defining their characters and how to react to this newcomer, who they feel is slightly responsible for their friend's death, the same friend who he is replacing on their team. It also shows how they maybe don't want to like him, so are trying not to (cough* Jack).
This episode was immense though, i loved the way Jonas went and swam down to the controls and saved Jack, Teal'c and Sam. Plus it's really funny that Jonas is always smiling.
Jonas Quinn is on his first mission with SG-1 and they are investigating Anubis's mother ship that happens to be unoccupied and in their solar system. It turns out that Thor messed around with the ship and some goa'ulds were still on board and made the ship crash into the sea and yadda yadda...the episode was ok. It was pretty exciting and had a bit of a "what's going on" type thing. It showed Jonas can swim and deserves to be on the team and can hold his own. Selmac was in it and I just like Selmac. Anyways, ok episode, ok story, nothing special.
wow.. this was episode full of action and excitement, also some really stylish and spectacular moments - all the water, Jonas using rings out of that.. the last scene with gliders, some scenes of the ship. And all the story - getting Thor back, finding abandoned Anubis ship - all the questions - why is here, what happened. It was amazing - really much action and excitement. Love that kind of episodes.
Also, some little char development for Jonas but that is required - he has to melt in and after this episode I most say - it looks promising. great episode.
