  • Quotes

    • Harlan: The portable power pack you invented…
      Sam: The robot me?
Harlan: Oh, it was ingenious. Even Hubble would have been impressed. I have one in my chest. Would you like to see it?
      Sam: Yes!
Jack: No! You can show her later.

    • Harlan: Where is Dr. Jackson? He will help.
Sam: He's on a mission at the moment.
Harlan: Oh, you do that so much!

    • Jack: Yeah, well I told you to bury your gate.
Android Jack: Well you seem to think that solves a lot of problems, don't you?

    • Jack: I don't see a radio.
      Android Jack: They're internal.
Sam: So you can actually send a signal to…
Android Jack: Wait. Excuse me. (concentrates, then taps his chest) A little static.

    • Jack: You all right?
      Darian: I am.
Android Jack: (bleeding heavily) I'm fine too. Thanks for your concern.
      Jack: Are you all right?
      Android Jack: A little gas.

    • Android Jack: The only rings I've seen were in that pyramid.
Teal'c: There is a way into the main chamber.
Android Jack: Yeah, by putting the robot at risk!
      Jack: Fine! I'll do it.
Android Jack: It's all right, I can handle it.
Darian: (Seeing Jack and Android Jack arguing) This is very strange to me.
Samantha Carter: This kinda thing happens to us all the time!

    • Android Jack: (to Jack) We're not done, pal!
      Jack: I so own you!

    • Darian: The people are terrified.
Teal'c: Then we must demonstrate to your people once and for all that Cronus is not a God.
Android Jack: I assume you have a plan to back up that rather...bold...but cryptic statement?
      Jack: Yes! Yes we do.

    • Android Jack: All right, come on, bring it on flyboy, let's go, come on!
      Jack: Oh you little sh...
(Jack and Android Jack start to fight)
Sam: Sirs! As much as I'd like to see how this plays out...don't we have something more important to do?

    • Native: Who are you talking to?
Android Jack: Earth: General Hamond and the other SG-1.
Jack: Hey, you're the other SG-1, pal!

    • Android Jack: Like I'm gonna spend my eternity on the lame-ass planet!
Jack: You gave me your word!
Android Jack: Oh, is this the first time you've lied to yourself? I told you what you wanted to hear! Besides, what were you going to do? Destroy me?
      Jack: I might have!

    • Hammond: (to Jack) It would seem your robot counterpart is equally good at following orders as you.

    • Android Jack: (to Jack) Are we still so far from real to you?

  • Allusions

    • Jack: Better? It means...better! Better, stronger, faster!
The Six Million Dollar Man was a 70s TV show in which a test pilot, Steve Austin, was badly injured in a plane crash. The voiceover during the opening summarises the show's premise with the words "Steve Austin, astronaut. A man barely alive. Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to build the world's first bionic man. Steve Austin will be that man. Better than he was before. Better, stronger, faster."
