To anyone who hasn't heard the news yet, comedian Dom DeLuise, father of Peter DeLuise and guest star on the episode Urgo, (not to mention many Mel Brooks movies) passed away today of ill health. Our thoughts go out on this sad day to the DeLuise family. RIP Dom.

Yeah I remembered him for his work on TV shows Candid Camera and Stargate SG-1 but also the work he did on films Spaceballs and American Tail. He will be missed.

Aww man, first General Hammond last year, and now Urgo this year. RIP Dom DeLuise. I may have to go watch "Urgo" now as a tribute...

I've heard him voice acting quite a few times. He's got one of those voices that is recognizable anywhere. RIP Dom.

He was a funny guy. I also liked that apart from Peter being producer his other two sons guest starred on Stargate as well. yeah first Don now Dom. I was watching Con Air on Sat and laughed hysterical as Don was complaining of bird poo on his windshield right after he washed only to have DAve Chappelle land on his car from 20000 feet and total it. Didn't know he came out there.

Yes I remember that scene in Con Air. So we got to see General Hammond on holiday with his wife I guess?
