Now I know why I like Col. O'Neill so much. He's always drinking Guinness all the time. In previous episodes you only saw a glimpse of his drink. But in this particular episode, he even plugs it.
They are all at O'Neill's house when the General comes to join the group. "You wouldn't happen to have another one of those?" (pointing at the empty bottles on the table)
"I would. I hope you like Guinness sir. I find it a refreshing substitute for
(for some strange reason the word FOOD is being censored from the end of my quote)
But really. If I could count how many times the annoying VP was talking and I was yelling at the screen "Geez! Shut the frack up already!" Man did he get under my skin. I kept thinking why the heck did they even hire Dr. Weir if he's gonna do all the talking? He just kept going on, and on, and on, OMG! What a jerk! The best thing that could happen to VP Kinsey is a staff blast to the head IMHO.
One thing that doesn't make sense to me. But only because I'm a military man. Shouldn't the crew of Prometheus be Navy? They are more experienced at commanding vessels, water-bound or space-bound. It would make more sense to me if we actually did have a space fleet, it would be under the command of the US Navy with naval ranks among their crew. Similar to Star Trek. It should be an Admiral commanding a vessel, not an Air Force General.
The battle though between the SGC fighters and the Anoubus' fleet was amazing. It was like watching something from Star Wars.
