When Carter is shown the picture of the NID agent whose prints were found on the second gun, his photograph is clipped on top of an unrelated document that appears to be the original request for SGC, written by General Hammond. Even if the picture is not intended to be related, why would he be holding such an old document?
Sam's cell is a Motorola Star-TAC. The ring, however, is from a Nokia.
The mimic devices' blue lights didn't light up in this episode.
Kinsey: (to Jack) The American people don't want their Air Force officers to be assassins, Jack, they want them to be heroes. I'm gonna to make you a hero.
(after Teal'c and Jonas have brought in a suspect)
Hammond: I understand this man had some injuries when you brought him in.
Teal'c: Dr. Langham was reluctant to accompany us back to the SGC. He required some 'convincing'.
Jack: I don't think the alien defense is going to fly.
Jack: Someone duplicated duplicators?
Kinsey: Smile, Colonel - you just won me the election.
Jonas: How did you learn to drive?
Teal'c: Daniel Jackson instructed me.
Jonas: When was that?
Teal'c: I believe the year was 1969.
Jack: Senator Kinsey wasn't exactly my best buddy, and occasionally I wanted to beat the crap out of him, but I didn't kill him.
The skirt that Major Carter wears when she visits Agent Barrett at Stanton Park actually belonged to actress Amanda Tapping and was not from the wardrobe department.
The duplicating technology featured in this episode first appeared in Foothold, which coincidentally (or not) Sci-Fi had run earlier in the week this episode premiered.
Aired Dec. 18 in UK.
Although Jack does not feature heavily in this episode he does appear for several minutes at both the beginning and the end.
Syndication airdate: December 28, 2003.
