About 16:30 into the episode, Teal'c wakes up from the dream world. Of course in his dream he doesn't have the gold emblem on his forehead. The first scene back in the real world they have forgotten to put it on. A few seconds later there it is.
When Teal'c and Bra'tak are passing the symbiote off-world, you can tell that the symbiote is mature. They shouldn't have been able to use it to sustain their lives.
Jack: What's that?
Sam: Tretonin, sir.
Jonas: The drug the Pangarans offered us?
Jack: Whoa! That's ground Goa'uld, isn't it?
Jacob: It's a little more refined than that, Jack...
Sam: Why don't you try a glass of warm milk?
Teal'c: I would prefer not to consume bovine lactose at any temperature.
Jack: Teal'c without Junior. That's a concept.
Michael Shanks is billed as Special Guest.
The fire department trucks and uniforms are from the Coquitlam Fire Department which is a Vancouver suburb near the Stargate studio. Also the accident is said to be at the Taylor Way overpass. That is a real location and was the site of the filming of that scene.
Other cameos: Christopher Judge's girlfriend Gianna plays T's nurse, and Amanda Tapping's husband Allan is the first fireman down the pole.
Director's cameo: Martin Wood is a fireman on the fire truck.
This is the first episode written by a regular cast member (although guest starring cast members Peter DeLuise and Jacqueline Samuda have also written episodes).
Perhaps deliberately (to hint what we're seeing isn't real), this is one of the rare times we see an SG-1 team member enter the gate room from the left (as you face the gate) - before they almost always come in from the right.
Teal'c & Bra'tac lose their symbiotes in this episode and have to take Tretonin from Cure.
