Am I the only person who thought the show was way better then the movie?

I think everyone thought the movie sucked compared to the classic Starsky & Hutch TV show.

Its shameful that these movie makers today use a great show for its movie title to suck in the fans of the particular show. Prime example along with Starsky & Hutch is "Mission: Impossible".

Not everyone thinks that. I rather enjoyed the movie for its own sake and because I like Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller. I never expected the film to have any sort of real correlation to the show. But there were plenty of little nods in it toward the show (and the whole 70's cop genre) that I liked.

don't get me wrong the movie was good. Just way different then the original. I did like the cameo's with the original actors.

I love the show, and I love the movie.  I thought that the movie was really good.

I also thought it was really cool that they had Paul Michael Glaser and David Soul on the movie as well.

The TV series is a 70s classic. The 2004 comedy remake sucked harder than a $5 crack whore.

I refuse to watch movies of classic tv shows. They're never as good, and some of them like to parody the tv show.
