I have only seen seasons 1-3 so far, so my answer may change if they put season 4 out on DVD, but for right know my favorite episode is A Coffin for Starsky.

    Any body else.

Manchild on the Streets is another good episode.  I really like it when Starsky slaps the officer in the face after he said the n word.  I cheered for Starsky when he did that.

I love that scene from "Manchild", too! Paul Michael Glaser was never afraid of showing his own beliefs and emotions in his character. I don't have a particular favorite ep. All the ones I love I love fairly equally. Even the ones I don't love have something loveable about them. (Tho, "Huggy and the Turkey" stretches that belief to the point of breaking. ) But, these are some of the eps I can watch over and over:

    The Plague

    A Coffin for Starsky

    Black & Blue

    Ninety Pounds of Trouble

    Starsky and Hutch Are Guilty

    Captain Dobey, You're Dead!

    The Psychic

    Class in Crime

    Targets Without a Badge

I've never been as big of a fan of "The Fix" as some others have been over the years. It always seemed like the typical "My-partner's-been-drugged-by-the-badguys-and-only-I-can-save-him" cop show ep.

Really!   I was reading about "Sweet Revenge" and it sounds very interesting, and a good episode.  I can't wait for the release of the 4th season so I can watch it.  I am dieing to watch that one episode the most.   That will be the first episode I watch when I get it.

Another favorite episode of mine is Hutchinson: Murder One.

I have completed my collection of all seasons now. I'm surprised that you have been unable to get it. It's been out ages in the UK. But Sweet Revenge is well worth it!

I just got my season 4 of Starsky and Hutch today in the mail.  I just got done watching Sweet Revenge.  I just have to say I really, really, really, really, really, really love that episode .  It would have to be now my number one favorite episode.

Of course, I still like the other ones I named.

My favorite episode would have to be "shootout". I like the real time thing, as well as the interaction between the guys. I also like a "coffin for starsky". I was really dissapointed in sweet Revenge however because the music was annoying and I could not get past the fact that Hutch apparently did nothing to help Starsky out since his Tee shirt was still clean and not blood soaked as it would have been if he had held  him or tried to stop the bleeding. I know its a TV show but come on. They should have gone all out with the blood and guts thing since it was the last episode.

The producers didn't know at the time that "Sweet Revenge" would be the last episode shown. (I believe "Starsky vs. Hutch" was the last filmed ep but put into rotation before "Revenge".) They were still in negotiation with the network for a 5th season, with the actor who played Starsky's brother stepping into a co-starring role with David Soul if Paul Michael Glaser decided not to return. Also, this was 70's tv; things couldn't get too bloody without Standards and Practices stepping in.

You know, I slow mo'ed that scene just to see and that slap was real. Paul really socked it to that actor. That guy probably needed an ice bag on his face all day.

Did you slow mo'ed Manchild on the Streets?  If so, I know.  I did that also, and it looked like he hit him hard.  But every time I see that episode I cheer for Paul for doing that, and I know it had to hurt.

I just noticed the episode "Death Ride" is called "Death Notice" on the dvd disc 1 episode index. I am furious. How does this incompetence go undetected?
