I have only seen seasons 1-3 so far, so my answer may change if they put season 4 out on DVD, but for right know my favorite episode is A Coffin for Starsky.
Any body else.
ABC (ended 1979)
I love that scene from "Manchild", too! Paul Michael Glaser was never afraid of showing his own beliefs and emotions in his character. I don't have a particular favorite ep. All the ones I love I love fairly equally. Even the ones I don't love have something loveable about them. (Tho, "Huggy and the Turkey" stretches that belief to the point of breaking. ) But, these are some of the eps I can watch over and over:
A Coffin for Starsky
Black & Blue
Ninety Pounds of Trouble
Starsky and Hutch Are Guilty
Captain Dobey, You're Dead!
Class in Crime
Targets Without a Badge
I've never been as big of a fan of "The Fix" as some others have been over the years. It always seemed like the typical "My-partner's-been-drugged-by-the-badguys-and-only-I-can-save-him" cop show ep.
I would defiantely have to say that 'Sweet Revenge' is possibly my favourite episode!
Another favorite episode of mine is Hutchinson: Murder One.
I just got my season 4 of Starsky and Hutch today in the mail. I just got done watching Sweet Revenge. I just have to say I really, really, really, really, really, really love that episode . It would have to be now my number one favorite episode.
Of course, I still like the other ones I named.
My favorite episode would have to be "shootout". I like the real time thing, as well as the interaction between the guys. I also like a "coffin for starsky". I was really dissapointed in sweet Revenge however because the music was annoying and I could not get past the fact that Hutch apparently did nothing to help Starsky out since his Tee shirt was still clean and not blood soaked as it would have been if he had held him or tried to stop the bleeding. I know its a TV show but come on. They should have gone all out with the blood and guts thing since it was the last episode.
You know, I slow mo'ed that scene just to see and that slap was real. Paul really socked it to that actor. That guy probably needed an ice bag on his face all day.
Did you slow mo'ed Manchild on the Streets? If so, I know. I did that also, and it looked like he hit him hard. But every time I see that episode I cheer for Paul for doing that, and I know it had to hurt.
