This episode is a little sappy but it is sweet. Starsky seems to really love Terri and is devastated when she is shot. He becomes enraged and guilt stricken when he realizes Prudholm has shot her just to get back at him. I would have liked to see Hutch meet him at the hospital after Terri died. It seemed odd that Hutch wasn't there for him. Apparently it was in the original script, but was not filmed that way. The Tag was a tearjerker and was very emotional.moreless

    • It may be just due to the angle of the shots, but at the basketball game when Terry loses her sight and Starsky rushes over to her, the two children sitting behind her on the other side of the bench seem to have disappeared in close-up shots of her. Edit

    • In this fan-favourite episode, Stephen McNally reprises his role as the murderous George Prudholm, obsessed with torturing Starsky, from the first season episode 'Pariah'. Edit

    • Hutch: Well, we gotta do something--right?--if we're not gonna be cops? Starsky: Well, maybe we outta go down to South America and try robbing banks. A small, sly reference to the 1969 buddy Western Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and their dreams of Bolivian bank-robbing. Edit
