      • The basic plot of this episode has appeared several times in various shows over the years. For example, 'The Dukes Of Hazzard's first season episode 'Route 7-11' (1979) sees Bo and Luke Duke taking a job driving an 18-wheeler, only to find that the truck is actually a mobile casino that has ripped off an old friend. And 'The A-Team's third season episode 'Road Games' (1985) has Face going undercover working for an illegal gambling ring that, when the heat is on, moves to operaterating from (wait for it)... the back of a truck! There's probably more shows also to use the premise.

      • Series Assistant Director Eldon Burke has a small cameo role as one of the gamblers in this story. He would also have a small role in the fourth season episode 'Photo Finish'.

      • A young, pre-movie stardom Melanie Griffith plays Julie McDermott, teenage daughter of gambler Ted, in this episode.

      • First episode of the series to be (c) 1978.
