Episode Summary
The streetwise cops are disgruntled when they are assigned to have a newspaper journalist accompany them for a couple of days, until they learn that the reporter is an attractive woman. As they try to trace a drug supplier who is poisoning the narcotics he pushes, the pair go all out to impress the reporter, but when she misunderstands their often unorthodox Policing methods, the woman writes a very unfavorable article about them...moreless

ADD NOTES- The early, first season 'T.J. Hooker' episode 'The Streets' (1982) also involves a newspaper journalist, assigned to accompany Hooker and Romano on their patrols and causing problems for them - And by coincidence or otherwise, the reporter in that story is played by Karen Carlson, who also plays the reporter in this episode! - Charlie Picerni, the series stunt co-ordinator and Paul Michael Glaser's usual stunt double, has another small part in this story. Edit
- Karen Carlson (reporter Christine Phelps) is David Soul's former wife. She had previously appeared in the series playing the title character in the popular second season episode 'Gillian'. Edit
