Aron's powers are to make anything he wants come to real life. He can do this by picking up an object and just thinking about it will make it come true.
Dwayne's and Aron's mother is referred to as 'Mrs. Price' and she mentions that she married Aron's father, which means that she's Dwayne's biological mother. But when Virgil and Richie are looking up Dwayne's profile at the community center, Dwayne's last name is McCall. (Reply: Dwayne is the younger brother and Mrs. Price's biological son. If the mother married Aron's father and his last name was Price, her name would have changed from McCall to Price.)
When Loco-Martian is turned back into the train, the clothes he put inside of himself vanish.
When Plant-Man crashes into the pillar, we see the purple flash that happens whenever one of Dwayne's polymorphs either occurs or is undone. However, Static looks in and sees Plant-Man lying unconscious instead of whatever Dwayne used to make him.
(Duane brings some comic book characters to life)
Static: Plantman and Karma-Pow? I'm reliving my childhood!
Dwayne's powers might be a reference to those of Rift, a lunatic whose mind was split between the mainstream DC Universe, namely, Metropolis, and the Dakota Universe. He could switch the universe in which someone or something existed, and he used that power to bring Superman and Superboy into Dakota.
When Virgil is telling Aron who will be at the party he's supposedly throwing, he says someone named Felix will be there. Felix was a friend of Virgil's in the comics.
If you listen closely, you can tell that the opening theme song has been changed a little.
Title: Child's Play
This episode's title was also the name of the first movie starring the character Chucky, which later spawned many sequels to its name.
Static: In the comics, you were weak against one thing - fire!
Loco-Martian's weakness to fire could be a reference to the early Martian Manhunter comics, where the Martian Manhunter had a weakness to fire.
