Staying Alive is a UK-based documentary that debuted in 1996. The series
was presented as a downbeat drama featuring the experiences of six
young people from different countries who were infected or affected by
the HIV virus. The stars of the show were Alice Timpson (Jessica Hynes),
Sue McPherson (Amanda Royle), Michaela Lennox (Susannah Wise) and
Philip Curtis (Scott Ransome). The series was written by Sam Snape and
Directed by James Hawe. Staying Alive aired for two seasons.
