  • This episode is too predictable.

    4.6
Dana, the model student, runs for president. JT, the opposite, does not even want to think about it. Turn to the speeches. JT, the slacker, starts talking to his friends and whoever else is listening about what should really be fixed in the school and then decides to run. Typical, "nerd" against "slacker", Foster against Lambert.

And of course, in typical fashion, the slacker wins, but finds out that he actually has to spend a lot of time at school and gives up his role to the more deserving.

It is very predictable that Frank takes sides. First, it's in his nature and second, it shows the division between the two families that is so common in the early seasons and mainly throughout the entire show.moreless

    • Frank: You know, pal, if you don't like the way student government works, you can always run for president.
      J.T.: Yeah, right!
Frank: Well, why not? Politics is in the Lambert blood. I don't know if you remember this or not, but I was elected President of the Milwaukee Tile & Grout Association.
Carol: Ah, well that explains the Secret Service protection.
J.T.: Forget it, Dad! I've got no interest in student government. I've got better things to do with my time.
      Dana: Like... detention.
      J.T.: That's one.

    • Brendan: Hello there, magic fans. I am the Great Brendini. And this is my lovely assistant... "insert name here"?
Al: Al! And get on with it! Before I 'insert fist here'.
      Brendan: Isn't she lovely?
