      • Steven Seagal: (opening credits narration) I make a living in the movies. But for the last twenty years, I've also been a cop. Along with some of the finest deputies on the force, I serve the people of Jefferson Parish, Lousiana. My name is Steven Seagal. That's right, Steven Seagal, Deputy Sheriff.

      • Steven Seagal: It can be very dangerous out on these streets. But nothing's more important to me than protecting the people of this parish and honouring town in the name of Harry Lee. That's one of the many reasons why I'm willing to put myself in harm's way and be a good cop.

      • Steven Seagal: As a lifelong practitioner of the martial arts, I'm trained to remain calm in the face of adversity and danger. In the world speeding by for others, I see things for what they are. A cock of the head, a foot planted forward or back, a flick of the wrist – they all tell me something, whether somebody's gonna fight, pull a gun, or run.

      • Steven Seagal: The way we look at it is that every gun we get off the street is a gun that can't be used against us, the police or other innocent people who would be robbed, car-jacked. These people don't have guns just for fun, they have them to use them.

      • Steven Seagal: Being a lifelong practitioner of martial arts, I try to teach everyone not to fight the recoil of the weapon, but more to become one with the weapon and let it be an extension of their body.

      • Alex: (about Steven's shooting) After what I've seen today, he could take a gnat off a fly's ass!

      • Larry: Sometimes I forget Steven's a big movie star. I consider him one of us, part of the team. But when people start coming around they recognise him, they ask him for his autograph. It reminds me, he is a movie star, and that's pretty cool.

      • Steven Seagal: The martial art that I practice is called Aikido, it's literally translated as "the way of peace and harmony". When we patrol these neighbourhoods that are infamous for burglaries, shootings, and narcotics, what we're really trying to do is take away the violence, take away the bad guys, and restore harmony.

      • Steven Seagal: If a police officer is not prepared as a last resort to use his weapon, he shouldn't be a police officer.

      • Larry: (to Alex, after his sidearm test) Congratulations, you get to keep your weapon.
Johnny: And you can buy us a hamburger tonight.
