  • Let's see. Repton and his troop aren't happy. Why? Their beautiful surfing spot has turned into an iceland! The Blizzarians, ice-loving locals, are the cause of this unpredicted ice age. With angry lizards and an awesome Stork, things are sure to heat up!moreless

This episode was, although not the best, one of the episodes that are a fine example of what Storm Hawks is all about. Humour as Stork shows some unexpected backbone, adventure as the team escapes a volcano, and of course, a nice little depth on one or more of the characters. We can clearly see that Suzy Lu brings out Piper's pride in being the only girl in the group. The episode futher proves girl power as the guys, stuck on a rock in the middle of molten lava, are unable to once again save the day. The young women have to deal with the situation alone, with some very positive results. A bit of a slap in the face to the guys of the team, who until then, couldn't recognize the fact that a female could be a sky knight. So altogether, great episode, with many memorable lines and hilarious stunts. I highly recommend it!moreless

  • TRIVIA (4)

  • QUOTES (8)

    • Stork: They found a way on board! This is really bad news... for them.

    • Piper: Stork, check it out; this is what I really wanted to see. It's a Blizzard Crystal.
Absolute Zero: Thanks to it we have have a new home, eh?
Stork: And I've got a case of extreme thermal paralysis. Oh yeah, already numb: only a matter of time before I loose the whole arm.

    • Stork: Steam, ooh that's good. Ice-cave, ooh that's bad.

    • Stork: It is only fair to warn you that pain and suffering are about to be inflicted.
Spitz: That's right, Toad! To you!

    • Aerrow: I give him 3 seconds.
(Aerrow counts done to 0 with his fingers, then Junko starts turning blue in the face.)
      Aerrow and Piper: Brain freeze!

    • Leugy: Are we there yet, Boss? Are we there yet?
Hoerk: Will you quit bugging Repton? We'll get there when we get there. (throws can at Leugy)
      Leugy: Owie!
Repton: Leave him alone, boys. Leugy's just excited, and so he should be.

    • Spitz: End of the rope, toad!
      Repton: Any last requests?
Stork: Yeah, get off my ship.

    • Piper: I just spoke with a Sky Knight at Terra Nord. He said you'd be welcome to live there... if you want to move.
Suzi-Lu: Mmmm, it is cold there...
Billy Rex: Yeah, but those guys're hosers... seriously. I've had fleas that rock out better'n them.
Suzi-Lu: Well, you boys is just gonna hafta teach them ta rock out real good, eh?

  • NOTES (3)

    • Dog Whistle
The Blizzarians used an alarm that produced a sound that only they could hear, as noted by Piper's inability to hear the alarm being sounded. As seen in the episode, when the whistle is blown, the Blizzarians cover their ears. This is because the whistle's sound is extremely loud to those who can hear high frequency sounds.

    • Fire and Ice
An allusion to Robert Frost's poem "Fire and Ice." In the poem, Robert Frost says the world would be destroyed by fire and ice. This is shown in the episode because the Blizzarians covered the Terra with snow and ice, while the Raptors covered the Terra in fire.

    • Stork's Flash manuever:

The Flash device Stork used and his glasses are similar to the memory wiping device used by the Men in Black from MIB: the Series.
