  • This episode is about the strong, but cuddly Junko dealing with a lack of self-esteem because he feels that he is nothing without his knuckle-busters. After losing his knuckle-busters, can Junko gain confidence in his own strength?moreless

I loved this episode, because it shows Junko's past and how he would overcome his lack of confidence in his own inner-strength. The friendship of Finn and Junko is really touching to watch, and it was a good action-packed episode, overall. The only problem I have is that Aerrow takes up alot of screentime, and beats up all of the bad guys, while the other members did not contribute much. This is an episode about Junko, not Aerrow! Aerrow kind of ruined parts of the episode to me.

Junko is a loveable and sweet character with good traits.moreless
  • Basically, when Ravess and Snipe shut down all navigation systems across Atmos, Junko loses his knuckle busters. Without them Junko believes he is useless to the Storm Hawks.

I loved this episode! I thought it was funny and I loved the fight scenes. Also I thought it was cool how we got to find out more about Junko and how he was treated when he was a kid. Poor Junko! My favorite part was the fight scene when Finn wanted to take on Ravess (Finn's hilarious!) and ends up getting smacked down. I also liked the end when Finn ended up getting bit my the scorpion flies!

This episode got me hooked from the begining and I was rooting for Junko the whole time. He didn't need those knuckle busters!moreless

    • In one shot when Aerrow's skimmer crashes into the giant clock, its minute hand appeared to have moved to a different position.

  • NOTES (3)

  • ALLUSIONS (3)

    • Since the timepulse is shut down, ships were not able to see each other, thus we were able to witness two anonymous ships colliding with each other.

It happens that on the same date of airing in 1986, 2 aircrafts, Grand Canyon Airlines Flight 006 collided with a Bell 206 JetRanger helicopter, killing all 25 on board both flights. The NTSB (National Transportation Safety Board) stated that they failed to 'see and avoid' each other.

The crash resulted in a ban of all scenic flights to Grand Canyon.

    • The Head Time Keeper speaks with a German accent. This is a reference to when clockmaking flourished mostly in Germany during the 15th and 16th centuries. Snipe's cuckoo clock scene is another reference to German clockmaking as cuckoo clocks were made in the Black Forest of Germany.

    • When Junko punches Snipe out of the clocktower, Snipe acts like a cuckoo popping out of clock. This is similar to what happened to characters in such shows like in the Looney Tunes cartoons.
