Show Summary

Welcome to the Strassman guide at TV Tome. BEWARE! Talk shows will never be the same again! STRASSMAN Internationally renowned ventriloquist/comedian David Strassman and his sarcastic sidekick Chuck Wood are let loose on some of New Zealand's sporting icons, actors, presenters and political figures. Chuck Wood had a session of 'truth or dare' with Rima Te Wiata, leaving a few unanswered questions. World-class champion axeman Jason Wynyard (who brought along his razor sharp axe) managed to chop Chuckie down to size and Member of Parliament Georgina Beyer swapped transgender stories. Ted E. Bare found out the answer to the all important question: "What is your favourite colour?" asked in his won inimitable manner to guests Bernice Mene (Silver Ferns captain), Jason Faafoi (What Now?) and Erica Takacs (True Bliss). But it was Blair Strang who won Ted E's heart, after kareoking to Tom Jones 'It's Not Unusual'. Strassman introduced New Zealand to Kevin the Space Alien and Sid the Beaver. Satellite links were set up with 'Who's Line Is It Anyway' stars Brad Sherwood and Wayne Brady, and hip rapper Coolio, but Chuck's cheekiness bounced off the shoulders of Kelly Packard who proved that not all Baywatch Babes are air heads. New Zealand comedian Mike King had a regular spot to discuss and analyse with Chuck, Maori culture, Parliament, Kiwi sayings and our obsession with sport.moreless
