Improved drawing style, coloration, sound matching...ah, let's get on with it. Another one centering around Honey Pie. She finds the others playing around on Orange Blossom's tree home and wants to join in, but those cloven feet won't let her climb up. Speaking of which, said home owner has started wearing her hat like the other human characters. "Ponies aren't much for climbing trees," the horse says says. Either nobody knew this simple fact or they forgot. What about bicycle riding? Nope. Still, one must credit the horse for trying. Poor Honey Doodle wants to get through to Honey Pie, but she doesn't listen. Strawberry Shortcake comes to terms with the situation and deems selfishness as the problem. Honey Pie chooses a game but unfortunately turns the situation inside-out at the others' expense. Tsk, tsk.

Nighttime at Strawberry's house sees a discussion over the problem. Ginger Snap strokes a sleeping Pupcake's head; ain't that sweet. I skip to the following day. A globe featuring imprints of fruits and desserts rather than standard continents? Not the planet itself, but apparently Strawberryland. Where can they find more horses? In a nearby place named Ice Cream Island. Oh, is Honey Pie excited! Off they go. Good, Huckleberry Pie is wearing protective skateboarding gear like he should have a long time ago. "We're going to Ice Cream Island, we're going to Ice Cream Island, we're going to Ice Cream Island..." Hope that bridge holds up. Oh no! Help Honey Pie out! Thank goodness.

Time for introductions again. Hey, whose that standing in Angel Cake's place? I've seen her in the new opening sequence. Oh wait, Angel's back again in the next shot. Honey Pie likes Ice Cream Island so much that she's decided to remain there. The human kids minus Apple Dumplin' reminisce about their horse friend. Will the bridge withstand a second trip across? Yikes! Here comes a downed tree! Oh no, they're trapped! Lives at stake here!

Everything on the show has now started running like clockwork, one incident after another going by so fast. Honey Pie changes her mind and returns to the Strawberryland mainland, though how she braved the waters without a transport is beyond me (must be stable waters today, or she found or made another transport). Don't go anywhere? Where does the horse THINK they're going? No matter.

Rescue is a success, and Honey Pie is never leaving again. But at least they're all welcome to visit the island whenever. Hmmm...Honey Pie feeling like the only one of something in Strawberryland? I detect similar story ideas concerning Apple Dumplin', Huckleberry Pie, Orange Blossom, and Ginger Snap. They could be entire stories or story fractions.moreless
