Beginning with Street Fighter Alpha (released in 1995, now considered non-canon), Final Fight characters started appearing in the Street Fighter games. Guy and Sodom first appeared in Street Fighter Alpha. Rolento appeared in Street Fighter Alpha 2 (released in 1996, replaces SFA) and Cody appeared in Street Fighter Alpha 3 (the official sequel to SFA2, released in 1998, in a prison outfit).
