    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    • TRIVIA (4)

      • Robert Costanzo (Phil Simpkins) is credited as a Special Guest Star.

      • Goof: When one of the gold robbers shoots at George Scroope, the security guard lying on the floor, at point blank range, no bullets hit his body. He doesn't even twitch to look like he's been hit by a bullet.

      • Nitpick: When Jesse arrives at scene of the last gold heist, he sees Phil Simpkins and says "It's Phil." Norman then asks "Phil who?" as if he has never heard of him before. However, Jesse previously told Norman about the "12th Street Protection Association" (the neighbourhood watch) and Phil Simpkins. Norman even specifically asked Jesse to keep a close watch on Phil.

      • During the majority of the episode, Norman has trouble using the Command Center computer because the phone lines are down. However, at the end of the episode the phone lines are back up again, Norman has a visual on Jesse's helmet camera, and he is able to activate the hyperthrust on the bike. Despite reports claiming the contrary, the bike does not break down in this episode.

    • QUOTES (3)

      • (when Norman asks him to return to the base)
Jesse: Shouldn't I have a vote in this?
Norman: Look, if I wanted a majority decision, I would have built a bus.

      • Norman: Mach, what's happening out there? You're supposed to report your position every two minutes.
Jesse: Well, I see palm trees. This still must be California.

      • (after the computer suddenly becomes online again)
Jesse: Hey Norman, we're a team again.
        Norman: Affirmative. I have visual.
