    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    • TRIVIA (5)

      • Charles Napier (John Slade) is credited as a Special Guest Star.

      • Goof: Mona hits Mr. Costa on the head with an empty glass container. In the next shot with Mr. Costa lying on the floor, the carpet looks wet as if the contents of the container had been spilled on the floor.

      • Nitpick: Norman is able to access the Street Hawk Command Center computer from Marpell Industries. If it's a top-secret government operation, why is the computer not secured? Maybe they hadn't heard of firewalls.

      • Goof: Norman's car falls off a cliff and is completely destroyed. However, in the next scene there is a familiar shot of the exterior of the Street Hawk Command Center, where Norman's car can be seen in its usual position. They obviously used stock footage without realizing that the car shouldn't be there.

      • Norman was offered the chance to work for Marpell Industries 7 years earlier together with Mona Williams (guest star Joanna Kerns). Only Mona accepted.

    • QUOTES (3)

      • Mona: (talking to a monkey in a cage) Well, how do I look?
        The monkey chatters.
Mona: Thanks a lot! Don't forget, I'm the one who saved you from vivisection.

      • (attempting to write a speech for Altobelli's "Commander of the Year" award luncheon)
        Rachel: So, what's the joke?
Jesse: Umm, the joke, there's these two hookers and a police commander...
Rachel: Jesse! The mayor and his wife will be there.
Jesse: Okay, okay! There's this one hooker and this police commander...

      • (Jesse's entire speech to Cmdr. Altobelli, after having more than a week to write it)
Jesse: Ladies and gentlemen, commander. What can I say that hasn't already been said? Skipper, what a guy!
