  • I've watched this episode more times than I can count. And every time it's still astounding.

This episode, in fact, is the very reason I started watching Strong Medicine.

Granted, at first I only saw the last 2 minutes, but I admired how bold it was to delve into such a subject, and waited a year, watching every episode as they aired in order, until the episode was shown again.

And then I was really amazed; because they pulled it off.

I mean, they really were able to portray this kind of situation realistically, especially the effects it had on Lu.

Some people, after being raped, would be broken, hysterical, depressed, or sad...but not Lu. We all know that she'd be angry.

At everything, and at everyone, including herself.

When I saw the episode the second time, I was smart enough to tape it so that I could watch it as many times as I like.

    And it still amazes me.moreless

In "Rape Kit", Rosa Blasi portrays a rape victim, and she does it very, very well. This episode is my favorite episode. Rosa, who plays Dr. Lu Delgado, is in the hospital, having a rape kit done on her. Janine Turner, who plays Dr. Dana Stowe, is the one that must perform the rape kit on Lu. Dana starts to question Lu. This episode brought me tears so many times. I probably had tears in my eyes the entire episode. "Rape Kit" is the most dramatic episode so far. Lu starts to question herself as to whether or not it was rape after she sees a victom brought in that was raped and stabbed, who put up a fight. Lu and Dana get into an arguement after Dana questions Lu. The entire cast was extremely great on this episode, Rosa mainly. "Rape Kit" is the episode that I would recommend to ANYONE.
