Although there were some murmurs about a full season order, it was officially announced that Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip got picked up for a full season order.

    See the story:

    Article 1
    Article 2

Great news for fans of the show.  It also shows that NBC is willing to give some shows a chance to find their niche in an extremely competitive market.

There is already a thread about this started by Diogo22 who also (in his second post) fully quotes one of the articles you reference. It is great news, the conversation about it should take place in the original thread.

Great to hear this show has been given a full season (if not longer). It's a great show, and I love all the work Aaron Sorkin has done... keep up the good work, I say

Great news, it is one of the better shows of the season, it is too bad it doesn't get the ratings like it should. This is quality TV, not reality shows like "date my mother".

I don't think we will. He was, I think, just there for the first episode to set up the brilliant premise for the show. The only thing I think he would do is a cameo at best with Danny or Matt.

Yippy!!!!! I love this show and I want it to go on for at least a whole season! I mean come on, NBC, give it a chance!!! Remember what happened in the 80's when you kept the shows on that you believed in, they became HUGE sucesses and NBC would never have been the same without them!!!!
