  • The second addition to Studio DC: Almost Live is a huge disappointment.

    1.0
When I found out that a second episode for Studio DC: Almost Live was going to be filmed, I got very excited, but after watching it, I became superbly disappointed. Okay, I'm sure people are going to ask why I hated this episode. Well, it was so boring that I nearly dozed off, the humor was very crude, and they overdid Ms. Piggy loving Zac Efron and the cast members saying that the Jonas Brothers are cute! First, Selena Gomez is upset with her crude humor by Fozzie Bear on her opening act. Then, Jason Dolley and Jason Earles are upset when their great sketches keep being cancelled. Later, Gonzo turns Vanilla into a turkey and attempts to cast of Wizards of Waverly Place to turn him back while David Henrie writes a song for Selena to use in her opening act. While Ms. Piggy continuely goes crazy over Zac Efron, she becomes jealous when Kermit is doing a duet with Demi Lovato, so she steals him right before he starts. Ms. Piggy also sings with the Cheetah Girls. I'm sorry, but unlike others, I found this addition to be very weak. The worst part? Well, that without a doubt is when Jake T. Austin turned Vanilla back into a chicken and claimed he was a real wizard. That was just so freakin' cheesy! I'm sorry, but if another episode is made like this again, I might start hating the show. So you better do good with a third addition if you can do one, Disney Channel!

    FINAL GRADE: Fmoreless
  • This s a BIG improvement from the original episodes. And it's mostly due to a return of everyone's favorite Go-fer!!!

    7.0
Who else remembers how long it took until Richard's muppets finally spoke again? It was a while vs. Jim's muppets (excluding Rowlf : ( ) and Frank's muppets... But now Janice, Beaker, and Statler aren't alone! Yes it's true, after nearly a decade Scooter has finally talked again!!!! As a big Richard fan that makes this episode pivotal. Despite a non-amphibian or human-like muppet for a host, Selena Gomez does a fair job and so do all the others who appeared. Even Camilla (the turkey?) is not gone forever... However... Miss Piggy's possible running gag involving Zac Efron is a bit much. She is way too adult for him... It would be better if the guests were not just DC stars or they did other songs and sketches outside of their DC career, but i guess the most us fans can hope for is that the muppets will finalley be known by the next generation; ALL of them...moreless
