    • TRIVIA (1)

      • For "Dry Run" authentic sections of the Angler were reproduced in the studio, augmented by truckloads of equipment loaned by the Navy. The director, scenic designer and set dresser for the production spent a day aboard a submarine making 18 dives in Long Island South, observing and questioning the crew, looking over the equipment and listing the gear which would be needed for the show.

    • NOTES (2)

      • On this, the 12th anniversary of Pearl Harbor Day, Studio One presented "Dry Run" the true story of Captain Robert 'Swede' Olsen and his experiences aboard the submarine Angler.

      • For this episode, whole sections of a submarine were built in the studio, and the entire cast was almost electrocuted when the water that was used for special effects got very close to the power cables.
