Everyone in Chatswin does up Mother's Day which leaves Tessa feeling left out. Dalia ditches Dallas to go to Israel. When Eden and George go to the Lerners' baby shower, Eden isn't pleased with the party theme. Sheila's pleasantly surprised by Fred's gift while Lisa makes an amazing find.

The Mother Load: Great season final to a great 1st season

Compaired to other shows I think this is one of the better season finals (especially for a first season) and is worth a watch. It was a good episodes filled will alot of laughs and great character interactions. I didnt give this episode a full 10 but that is because I'm kind of fed up with Eden at this point. Her character was fine when they 1st introduced her but I find her kind of annoying and alot of this episode does focus on the Werner's baby shower and so shes kind of around a bit.

Ok ill try not to give out any spoilers but here are my thoughts:

The Bad:

Well i kind of said it above but its really just my personal bordom with Eden's character.

The Good:

I think some of the best parts of the episode were the Dallas/Tessa interactions. You really do see that Tessa has put Dallas in a motherly position in her life. I think that it is a good thing for Tessa but in the end it does end up hurting her.

We do find the answer to whether of not Lisa is a real Shay or not. It's an interesting answer but kind of predictable.

The ending I loved. Although Tessa's realisation is very sad it was very understandible and you could see that happening to someone in real life which i liked. And in the end we are introduced to a new character (and no it is not Tessa's mother) and an opertunity for Tessa to leave. Its a good cliffhanger type ending that does open up alot of questions of how they are going to do season two. Can't wait to see what they're gonna do next year!

This episode was EXCELLENT! It had a LOT of laugh out loud moments! I figured that Ryan would be the one adopted instead of Lisa, but the way we found out was pretty good! The end when Tessa was upset over the fact that her mother never thought about her was so heartbreaking and well done. It was a twist however that Tessa plans on using her grandmother to leave Chatswin though! Didn't see that coming! Can't wait for Season 2!moreless
