As Tessa heads to the city to spend Thanksgiving with her grandmother and mom, Dallas helps keep George occupied by firing Chef Alan and putting George in charge of Thanksgiving dinner. Alas George isn't cut out to be a cook so he hires Chef Alan on the sly to keep the meal edible.

The Shays and Malik were funny. The Shays are always great! Tessa and her mom were alright. I liked Tessa better in seas one though. She's kind of changed to be more mature which isn't as entertaining. George and Dallas weren't very good though.

Good episode! Glad Tessa finally got to meet her mom, but NOOOOO Malik and Lisa need to get back together IMMEDIATELY!!

Finally, this show hits the sweet spot

poignant and funny! Dallas and her crew are fine as a backdrop, but this show should be all about Jane Levy and her character, Tessa. It's almost as if they had a different writer for this episode. I seem to remember the first two or three episodes having this quality.
