    Brooke is the daughter of minor actress Teri Shields and the grand-daughter of Frank Shields, a good-looking and flamboyant amateur tennis champion who had some movie parts in the mid-1930s. She is also a second cousin of Glenn Close. Through her grandmother, Marina Torlonia, Brooke is descended from the notorious Lucrecia Borgia, King Henri IV of France, and many other historical figures.

    Her screen career began with a TV commercial for Ivory soap, and her first movie was Alice, Sweet Alice (1977) but she first became famous as a Calvin Klein model and for her role as Violet in Pretty Baby (1978).

    Brooke is a Princeton graduate in French Literature. She added 'Camille' to her names when she was ten, and is a vegetarian. She was named as Time magazine's 'Face of the Eighties'.

    Former boyfriends include Dean Cain (when they were both at Princeton), Michael Bolton, John F. Kennedy Jr, Liam Neeson and Michael Jackson. She was married to the tennis player Andre Agassi from 1997 to April 1999, and was a close friend of the actor David Strickland (Todd in Suddenly Susan), who hanged himself in 1999. The marriage to Agassi was later annulled, enabling Brooke to marry screenwriter Chris Henchy in the Catholic church on 4 April 2001. They now have one daughter, Rowan Francis, born in May 2003.

    Television actor Currie Graham, who has been acting for over two decades, is mostly known for his roles as sports writer Nathan Knaborski, a romantic interest of Brooke Shields in the final season of Suddenly Susan and as the ruthless and sleazy ADA Nick Balco on Boston Legal. He has filled up his resume with a variety of television and film credits from a wide array of roles and genres since the late '80s. Graham, who played basketball in high school, was introduced to acting when he signed up for the drama program thinking it was a chance to catch some sleep before games. As fate had it, he fell in love with theater and began performing in school plays. His parent's dream for him to become a medical doctor was set aside and he instead enrolled at the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City.

    In New York, he found a new home and in acting, he discovered his calling. Currie continued to appear in theatrical productions during and after his stint at the academy. His television debut was a guest appearance in an episode of Just the Ten of Us in 1988. It wasn't until in 1992 that he followed that up playing Mitchell Burkitt in a Law & Order episode. During the next three years, Graham did a handful of films and made-for-TV movies including the crime dramedy Money for Nothing (1993) with John Cusack and Benicio Del Toro. While primarily recognized as a TV actor, he has added several film credits to his name including the action thrillers Rancid (2004) and Assault on Precinct 13 (2005), alongside Oscar-nominated actors Laurence Fishburne and Ethan Hawke and Golden Globe winner Gabriel Bryne.

    On television, Graham has commonly played characters in a position of power and authority. Among the notable roles that he has portrayed are Lt. Thomas Bale, the station commander of the 15th squad in the final season of NYPD Blue, Ed Ferrara, the boss of Lynette Scavo (Felicity Huffman) at an advertising agency on Desperate Housewives, Police Supervisor Richard Ellis on Men in Trees, and ADA Frank Ginsberg on Boston Legal. In 2008, Currie went back to his hometown of Hamilton, Ontario to film the TV mini-series drama Would Be Kings, in which he starred opposite Natasha Henstridge and played the straight-arrow investigator Patrick Lahane.     David Strickland was born in Glen Cove, L.I., and raised in Princeton, N.J. He moved to Pacific Palisades near Los Angeles while he was in high school. David checked in to the Oasis Motel in Las Vegas during the early hours of March 22, 1999. His body, hanging from a ceiling beam by a bed sheet, was discovered by a maid. He was pronounced dead at the scene. There was no note, and evidence of drugs was found in the room. The Clark County coroner's report stated that his body bore the marks of a previous suicide attempt. Reports in the period leading up to his death suggest that he was no longer taking the medication prescribed for his bipolar disorder. On the day prior to his death he was seen with his friend Andy Dick in the Glitter Gulch strip club. David had a history of substance abuse and missed a scheduled court appearance on the day he died, related to an October 1998 arrest for cocaine possession to which he pleaded no contest. A source close to the actor is quoted as saying, 'He was smart and funny and had a good head on his shoulders. He seemed like he had a great perspective on things. Upon Honorable Discharge, Williams worked for the Post Office as a mailman. After delivering the mail in sub zero temperatures, he went to work in Chicago's garment district as an apparel salesman. His good looks, high energy and effective salesmanship caught the attention of advertising executives who encouraged him to pursue a career in modeling, which he did with great success for several years. Long fascinated by the local theater scene, Williams began to investigate his own acting abilities.
