It's a wonderfull episode. When Sue and Troy are in the garage and sign, I like the reaction that the others give. They are F.B.I., they can do a lot, but can't hear a thing where Troy and Sue are talking about. It gives a good picture how deaf people communicate. And it gives a good picture how they must feel between people who aren't deaf.

I like the way, Sue gives trust to people. She has a big hart, an example for many. I was asking myself if Troy makes art in real life to. Or is that just for this serie?

Is there anyone who knows that?moreless
  • Sue lands a case involving a deaf man named Troy whom she communicates entirely in ASL with. Troy becomes her informant to take down a friend of his and wants to turn over a new leaf from his life of stealing cars.moreless

The producers of STFBE have called this episode "Ground-breaking" because this is the first-time on a prime-time TV show that two actors conversed completely in ASL with subtitles to tell the rest of us what they were saying. The episode shows the finest example of why Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye is produced...to build a bridge between the two worlds of deaf and hearing people. That is one of the reasons why I think this show should come back with many more seasons because I know that I can learn more about the deaf culture!moreless

    • Troy Kotsur is Deanne's Real-Life husband.

Chantal Craig who also is in this episode is the real life wife of Series Regular Yannick Bisson.

    • The episode will make history because there will be a lot of signing in the episode between Deanne Bray and husband Troy Kotsur (Who is deaf). This may be the first time two deaf actors have used ASL (American Sign Language) on TV.

There will be subtitles to make it easier to understand what is being said.
