  • New York Lawyer vs. Boston Lawyer

    9.0
The MIke Ross subplot was alittle weak. But when you think about it it`s really important to him. Harvey meets a lawyer from Boston and the reason every points out he is from Boston is becuase they make a great joke about it. THe lawyer fight was really funny and tense you have no idea who will win. As they both switches turnes breaking the rules. Is a great episode, great script, and the funniest part is the last seen att the end that I`m not going to spoil.moreless
  • This episode was pretty good I thought. Had a lot going on through the entire episode. The fight between Harvey and that other lawyer was very fun to watch. I love the quick witted humor of this show too and it showed in this episode.moreless

This episode was pretty good I thought. Had a lot going on through the entire episode. The fight between Harvey and that other lawyer was very fun to watch. I love the quick witted humor of this show too and it showed in this episode.Every time the two main guys get together it's always funny watching them go back and forth with each other. Makes me giggle every time, specially this episode at the end when Harvey finally admits he enjoyed the victory he paid for.

All in all a great episode.moreless

    • Donna: (About Louis after Mike accuses him of being a traitor)That man bleeds Pearson-Hartman. He's probably wearing Pearson-Hartman underwear right now.
Mike: I went to the tennis club with him. Trust me, he doesn't wear any underwear.

    • Mike: (giving Donna a cappuccino cup) I don't understand why you use skim milk and than put whip-cream and sugar in it.
Donna: Because I use skim milk I can put whip-cream and sugar in it.

  • NOTES (2)

  • ALLUSIONS (5)

    • Mike: Are these the Galusska briefs? You guys, Louis has been hounding us for these. Why hasn't anyone taken them to him? Are you serious? Wow, you're scared of him. He's Louis Litt. He's not Darth Vader.

This is a reference to Star Wars film series, where Darth Vader is the main antagonist.

    • Mike: Louis was talking about loyality. Maybe this is just some test to see how loyal we are by not turning on each other.
Jimmy: Are you kidding? Jessica would never play along with something like that?
Mike: Even if this is not a test, this is a law office. Not Lord of the Flies. Everyone get back to work.

This is a reference to the novel Lord of the Flies by William Golding. The novel is about a group of kids who get stranded on an island who ban together but end up turning on one another.

    • Mike: Wow, you're like a regular Zuckerberg.

This is a reference to Mark Zuckerberg the co-founder of Facebook and the central character of the 2010 movie The Social Network, where he was played by Jesse Eisenberg.

    • Harvey: Moneypenny
      Vanessa: Don't call me that
      Harvey:Why Not?
Vanessa: Cause. She had a thing for him. This is the other way around.

This is a reference to the character of Miss Moneypenny, M's secretary in the James Bond movies. In the movie series, she had a crush on Bond.

    • Mike: We have an IT department?
Donna: The computers don't run themselves. At least till Skynet goes active.

This is a reference to theTerminator movies. Skynet was the military AI which became self aware and made it its goal to exterminate all humans.
