Sunday Night at the London Palladium

Show Summary

Sunday Night at the London Palladium was an English television program that aired on two separate occasions: from 1955 until 1967 and again from 1973 until 1974. The show had numerous hosts, including Tommy Trinder, Norman Vaughn and Jim Dale. Typically, the program began with a game competition. One of the common games was called Beat the Clock, in which contestants raced to arrange scrambled letters into a well-known phrase. Following the game part of the program, the host introduced a musical act. Notable acts that played on Sunday Night at the London Palladium included The Rolling Stones, The Beatles and Liberace.
