(Scene shifts to the Library. The camera pans over to a bookshelf and Whyatt appears from behind a book.)
Whyatt: Hi, so glad you're here. It's me Whyatt.
(A secret door appears behind Whyatt. Whyatt enters the door and arrives in Storybook Village.)
Whyatt: Welcome to Storybook Village where all our fairy-tale friends live.
(Whyatt's super duper computer starts beeping and he looks at it.)
Whyatt: It looks like Princess Pea is waiting for me. That's right, I promised I'd help her with something.
(Whyatt runs over to Princess Pea's castle. Along the way he meets Peter Piper, who is picking some pickled peppers.)
Whyatt: Hi Peter Piper.
Peter Piper: Hi Whyatt.
(Whyatt arrives at Princess Pea's castle.)
Princess Pea: Are you ready for our dance number for the show Whyatt?
Whyatt: I'm ready to practice.
Princess Pea: Then let's go.
(The two of them start dancing. Then Whyatt accidentally steps on Princess Pea's foot.)
Princess Pea: Ow!
Whyatt: Sorry about that.
Princess Pea: That's ok, let's try that again.
(The two of them start dancing. Things go fine until Whyatt trips over a rock and falls; dragging Princess Pea down too. Princess Pea falls on top of Whyatt.)
Princess Pea: Oh my peas.
(Both of them get up.)
Whyatt: I give up, I'll never be a good dancer.
Princess Pea: But if you give up, then I won't have a partner for the show.
Whyatt: This is a super big problem. And a super big problem calls for us; the Super Readers.
(Whyatt takes out his super duper computer.)
Whyatt: Call them with me. Say "calling all Super Readers."
Echo: Calling all Super Readers.
Whyatt: To the book club.
Echo: To the book club.
(Whyatt runs to the book club.)
Whyatt: Come on, to the book club.
(Whyatt arrives at the book club.)
Whyatt: Whyatt here.
(Pig enters.)
Pig: P is for Pig.
(Red enters.)
Red: Red Riding Hood rolling in.
(Princess Pea enters.)
Princess Pea: Princess Pea at your service.
Whyatt: And you; say your name.
(Pause for the answer.)
Whyatt: Great, we're all here; together we will solve my problem.
(Everyone enters the book club and heads to their personal chairs. Whyatt enters his super duper computer into the database and information is uploaded into it. Then Whyatt takes the stand.)
Red: Ok Whyatt, state your problem.
Whyatt: I agreed to be Princess Pea's partner for her big dance show, but I'm not that good.
Pig: Oh no.
Whyatt: But if I quit, she won't have partner. What can I do so I don't let her down?
Red: Good Question.
Whyatt: And when we have a question we look …
All: In a book.
Pig: Which book should we look in?
Princess Pea: Peas and carrots
Carrots and peas
Book come out
Please please please.
(A book with the title The Odyssey flies out of the bookshelf.)
Whyatt: Let's read the title of this book, They Odyssey. We know what to do; we need to jump into this book and find the answer to my question. First we look for super letters, then we put them in our super duper computer. Super duper computer, how many super letters do we need?

Whyatt: In this story, we need ten super letters. It's time to transform. Ready?
All: Ready.
Whyatt: Arm's in: put your arm in.
(Everyone puts their arms out.)

(Pig transforms into Alpha Pig.)
Alpha Pig: Alpha Pig with alphabet power!
(Red transforms into Wonder Red.)
Wonder Red: Wonder Red with word power!
(Princess Pea transforms into Princess Presto.)
Princess Presto: Princess Presto with spelling power!
(Whyatt transforms into Super Why.)

(The whyfliers appear and the team hops into their whyflier.)

Princess Presto: Presto! We're in the book The Odyssey.
Super Why: Let's read. Whywriter highlight.
(The whywriter shines a light on the story.)
Super Why: Read with me.
Odysseus was returning home from a great war.
(Scene shifts to Odysseus and his fleet setting sail for their home in Greece.)
Super Why: But some bad storms blew them off course.
(Scene shifts to some strong winds blow the ships away from Greece.)
Super Why: Now all of the ships are lost and want to go home.
Sailor 1: I want to go home.
Sailor 2: Why don't we find a new home.
Odysseus: But if we do that, we'll never see our family again.
Princess Pea: Wow, those guys want to give up trying to find their way home, but it won't be good if they do.
Super Why: That's just like me and my problem. And that Super Readers is why we are in this story. Both the sailors and I want to give up; but we just can't.
Alpha Pig: We should see what Odysseus does about this.
Wonder Red: To Odysseus, let's roll.
(Princess Pea makes a row boat and the Super Readers row all the way to Odysseus's ship.)
Super Why: Odysseus, we're the Super Readers and we want to talk to you.
Odysseus: Ah Super Readers, would you like to help us find the way home.
Super Why: Sure.
Odysseus: I believe there's a route to our land through here.
Sailor 1: But Odysseus, there's a Cyclops living on that island.
Odysseus: But we have to go through there.
(Odysseus's ship sails by the island the Cyclops notices them.)
Wonder Red: Uh oh, I think it spotted us.
Cyclops: Go away!
(The Cyclops tosses a large boulder that crashes through the middle of the ship, causing it to sink.)
Sailor: Oh no, our ship is sinking! What are we going to do?
Princess Presto: Cue the sparkles, cue the music. Princess Presto the rescue! With my magic spelling wand, I can spell the word float, and make the ship float.
(Princess Presto takes her spelling wand out.)
Princess Presto: Wands up; spell with me. Now what makes the sound fff? Answer: F.
Princess Presto: F. Write an uppercase F with me.
(Princess Presto writes an F and the boat starts to go up.)
Princess Presto: Now what makes the sound lll?
Answer: L.
Princess Presto: L. Write an L with me.
(Princess Presto writes an L and the boat continues to go up.)
Princess Presto: Now what makes the sound o?
Answer: O.
Princess Presto: O. Write an O with me. Like a big circle.
(Princess Presto writes an L and the boat continues to go up.)
Princess Presto: Now we need an A. Write an A with me.
(Princess Presto writes an A and the boat continues to go up.)
Princess Presto: Now what makes the sound ta ta?

Princess Presto: T. Write a T with me.
(Princess Presto writes an T and the boat continues to go up.)

(Princess Presto waves her wand and the boat stops sinking.)
Princess Presto: Spectacular spelling. We spelled the word float and the boat stopped sinking. Let's take a bow.
(The boat continues to sail past the island.)
Super Why: Remember to keep an eye out for super letters.
(The boats continue to sail and the letters D, G, and U come out from under the waves.)
Super Why: You see Super Letters! What letters do you see?

Sailor 1: Where are we going next Odysseus?
Odysseus: We're near the Sirens.
Sailor 2: Who are the Sirens?
Odysseus: Maidens who sing a song to attract people. But their song leads to some rocks that sink ships.
Alpha Pig: Oh my chinny chin chin, that sounds terrible.
Odysseus: We have to do our best not to get trapped by their song.
(The ship gets close to the island just as the sailors start to hear the song. They become trapped by it and start sailing toward some sharp rocks.)
Odysseus: Look out, the rocks!
Princess Pea: Oh my peas, how can we save the ship?
Wonder Red: Wonder Red to the rescue! With my wonder word basket, I'll find a word that can save the ship.
(Wonder Red opens her basket and the word sing comes out.)
Wonder Red: What letter is this?
Answer: S.
Wonder Red: S. What sound does it make?
Answer: sss.
Wonder Red: sss, sss. And what does this say?
Answer: Sing.
Wonder Red: Sing. Sing is an ing word, I love ing words. It's time to rhyme.
Wonder Red *singing*:

Wonder Red: We need a word to save the ships. Let's see if there are other words we can use.
(Wonder Red opens her basket; the S goes back in and is replaces with a w.)

Wonder Red: Wuh, wuh. And we know that this is ing. What word is this?
Answer: Wing.
Wonder Red: Let's see what happens when we use wing.
(Some wings appear on the ship and it flies over both the sirens and the rocks. It lands far away from them and the wings disappear.)
Wonder Red: Wonderific, you are terrific! We changed the word sing to wing and we avoided the sirens.
(The ships sails on and the letters T, E, and P appear out of the water.)
