ABC (ended 1984)

FILTER BY SEASON

  • Goof: When Dr. Corwin is changed into a dinosoid, his glasses vanish. They reappear in the same manner when he is restored. The same happens with Professor Stein when he's changed back even though Ronald found his glasses earlier. Edit

  • In the scene where Robin examines the wrecked Batjet, the logo on his costume is inverted. Instead of the usual gold "R" in the black circle, it's a black "R" inside a gold circle. Edit

  • Wonder Woman's tiara also seems to be inverted when she's changed into a Dinosoid. Until she returns to normal, the tiara is red with a gold star instead of gold with a red star. Edit

  • As Robin and Ronald escape from the scientist's complex, one of the spoken lines is "We've got to get over the wall!" Though it looks like Robin is saying that particular line, the voice heard is Ronald's. Edit

  • Wonder Woman, Black Vulcan, El Dorado, Robin and Apache Chief are seen in this episode but have no lines of dialogue. Edit

  • Goof: Superman's insignia seems to be missing when he grabs Mirror Master at the end of the episode. Edit

  • Goof: When Mirror Master first appears in front of Superman at the observatory, he seems to appear as a ghostly image before becoming solid. Edit

  • Goof: When Robin is first seen, his "R" insignia is missing. Edit

  • Goofs: When Darkseid asks Wonder Woman to join him after thinking he's defeated Superman, her tiara is colored red. Later, when the real Superman is seen with El Dorado, the upper parts of his boots are colored yellow. Edit

  • Dollmaker's secret hideout was at Big Schott's Toy World. Schott was the real name of another DC villain, the Toyman. A second, masked version of Toyman appeared in Challenge Of The Superfriends and was also voiced by Frank Welker. According to the DVD commentary for the episode, Toyman was supposed to be the villain in this episode. Edit

  • Goof: When Robin observes Batman meeting with the Dollmaker's toy soldiers from atop a building, the first shot shows his right glove missing. Edit

  • Robin's insignia is inverted when El Dorado appears in front of him upon leaving the Hall of Justice. Edit

  • Goof: When El Dorado and Superman arrive at the bank scene, the upper portion of the latter's boots are colored yellow. Edit

  • When El Dorado breaks Dollmaker's control of the other SuperFriends, Batman's insignia is briefly reversed--i.e. a gold bat in a black oval instead of the traditional black bat in a golden oval. Edit

  • Goof: When Brainiac sends his android doubles of Superman and Wonder Woman on their mission to capture the SuperFriends, two Invisible Jets are seen departing his spaceship though, as seen in this episode, the Superman double could fly on his own. Edit

  • Goof: Just as the SuperFriends confront Kalibak and are about to go into battle, Robin's shorts can be briefly seen as yellow instead of green. Edit

  • This episode is the final appearance of the Wonder Twins Zan & Jayna, along with their pet mascot Gleek, who were first seen in 1977's The All-New Superfriends Hour. Edit

  • Goof: Jayna's "J" insignia is reversed in the scene where Gleek finds the red Kryptonite at the construction site. Edit

  • Goof: When Mxyzptlk takes young Superman out of the Hall of Justice, the latter's insignia is inverted (A yellow "S" inside a red shield). Edit

  • This is the only Super Friends episode in which Luthor wears his Super Powers-era green power suit, which first appeared in the comic, Action Comics #544 in June 1983. Edit
