I have uncovered a bit of a problem. There are currently 38 total points in the game, when we began with 36. Since each vote should be adding a point from one episode that is in the same turn taken from another, there should always be 36. I will have to check and do a recount to see where along the line this mistake occured.

Well, when you finish with that, Munchlax, my next vote is:

Heal: The Last Son of Krypton part 1
Hurt: The Way of All Flesh

There was some impressive animation and a great ending, but otherwise I found "The Way of All Flesh" very bland. I couldn't sympathise with Metallo at all, even though I was sympathetic towards the Mad Hatter in B:TAS. Both are jerks, but I just really don't care for Metallo. He's a little creepy, and that's it as far as any life in him is concerned. The plot was a bit stale and seemed like a cheap stab at trying to do a B:TAS-style story of a fallen man... except there was nothing great or respectable about Metallo to begin with.

    Heal 'Fun and Games'

Hurt 'The Last Son of Krypton 1'

I guess 'The Way of All Flesh' is out. Personally I found it to be one of the few episodes of the series that actually got into the mind of one of the villains. Corben's being a terrorist didn't take away from how well-conceived the idea for Metallo was. The animation is BEAUTIFUL and we get a bit more spotlight on Luthor. I love it.

I forgot to mention that "The Way of All Flesh" had a great twist ending. Since I got the DVD, I've watched the episode twice, and both times I didn't see the revelation that Luthor had Metallo poisoned coming.

However, I still don't love this episode. Corben got what was coming to him as far as I'm concerned, and I just generally don't like the idea of the Metallo character. I was skepic about nearly all of the villains going into this show; some of them ended up working for me, while others didn't.

And Luthor is rarely as interesting in S:TAS as in JL/JLU.

Heal: The Last Son of Krypton part 1 (disembodied Brainiac is SO COOL, and there's powerful emotion)
Hurt: The Main Man part 1

    Heal: Stolen Memories

Hurt: last son of krypton part 1

Eh, its a good episode but superman only appears as Kal El, but yeah, its one of the best in this round but braniac with a body is a little cooler than without one

I just mean that disembodied Brainiac is cool and creepy for a one-off episode.

Another huge disagreement on my part. Luthor was only truly compelling in 'JL' during season 2 of JLU, season 1's 'The Return', and 'A Better World'. The rest of his appearances can't compare to just about any of Luthor's S:TAS appearances, just about all of which make the character feel powerful and intimidating.

    And Heal 'Fun and Games'
Hurt 'Last Son of Krypton part 1' (not that it's bad mind you, it just doesn't compare to the rest currently in the running)

You're right about him not being so cool in JL season 1 or JLU season 3. However, his appearances in the episodes you mentioned are mostly streets ahead of the rest ("The Return" and "Question Authority").

In S:TAS, he was put to great use in "World's Finest", "Identity Crisis", "Brave New Metropolis" and "Legacy". None of his other appearances really stand out to me...

Heal: The Last Son of Krypton part 1
Hurt: The Main Man part 1

I wonder when Munchlax will get around to that recount, since we're probably only making it more confusing...
